cavern city Air Terminal

The Cavern City Air Terminal, during World War II was used by the United States Army Air Force Training Command. Today, the airfield is a public-use airport located five (5) miles southwest of the central business district of Carlsbad covering an area of nineteen hundred eighty (1,980) acres, which hosts four (4) runways.
